北九州予備校がIELTS公式テストセンターへ

福岡県を中心に、２０２０年４月以降は九州広域及び山口県、沖縄県での実施を予定



2019年5月、学校法人　北九州予備校（本社：福岡県北九州市）がIELTS公式テストセンターとしてIELTS試験の実施を開始します。

これにより世界で最もポピュラーで信頼性の高い英語テストであるIELTSを福岡をはじめとする九州、山口、沖縄地域の海外留学希望者が受験出来る機会が増えることになります。

北九州予備校とIELTSの共同所有者であるIDP:IELTS Australiaとのパートナーシップによって運営されるこの新しいテストセンターは、受験者がIELTS受験に備えて英語力を向上させるためのサービスを提供します。セミナー、トレーニングプログラム、試験対策コースを受講することで、試験当日に受験者が最高の英語スコアを獲得できるようサポートします。

IDP EducationのManaging DirectorであるWarwick Freeland氏は、この新しいテストセンターは、グローバルな機会を追求しようとしている日本の学生や専門家集団の成長に役立つと語りました。

New IELTS Test Centre opened by IDP Education at Kitakyushu

Language learners based in Fukuoka now have more options to take IELTS, the world’s most popular English language test, thanks to a new centre opening at Kitakyushu Yobikou.

The new centre, operated by a partnership between Kitakyushu Yobikou and IELTS co-owners IDP Education, will also provide space for test takers to prepare for IELTS and improve their English.

With seminars, training programs and test preparation courses, the centre aims to empower test takers to achieve their best English language score on test day.

Warwick Freeland, Managing Director – IELTS, IDP Education, said the new centre will help Japan’s growing cohort of students and professionals looking to pursue global opportunities.

“An IELTS score can help test takers in Japan achieve their global career and study goals,” Mr Freeland said.

“When a test taker sits IELTS at this new centre in which has locations in Kyushu, Yamaguchi and Okinawa, their test result will be recognised by more than 10,000 employers, governments and universities around the world,” he said.

IELTS, a four skills test of reading, writing, listening and speaking, has been gained popularity in Japan in recent years.

The first IELTS test at Kitakyushu will be held on 11 May.
