　アイリスオーヤマ株式会社（本社：宮城県仙台市、代表取締役社長：大山 晃弘）は、同社が製造・販売する「ジャー炊飯器3合」が、世界3大デザイン賞の一つである「Red Dot in the Red Dot Design Award 2023（レッドドットデザインアワード）」を受賞（※1）しました。

■「Red Dot Design Award」概要
　「Red Dot Design Award」は、ドイツのノルトライン・ヴェストファーレン・デザインセンター（Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen）が主催し、1955年より毎年1回開催されている国際的に権威のあるデザイン賞です。プロダクトデザイン、ブランド＆コミュニケーションデザイン、デザインコンセプトの3つの部門に分かれ、世界的なデザインの専門家が審査します。毎年世界70か国以上の企業、組織、デザイナーから応募があり、世界中の優れたデザイン・トレンドを網羅しています。（※2）
