後場の日経平均は前日比482.74円安の64433.96円と、前引け（64512.35円）からやや下げ幅を拡大してスタート。ランチタイム中の日経225先物は64560円-64770円のレンジでもみ合い。ドル・円は1ドル＝158.40-50円と午前9時頃から10銭ほど円高・ドル安水準。アジア市況は上海総合指数が前日終値近辺で推移している一方、香港ハンセン指数は軟調に推移し0.9％ほど下落している。後場の東京市場は前引けに比べやや売りが先行して始まった。前日19日の米国株式市場では、ダウ平均が小幅続落となった一方、ナスダック総合指数は反発した。人工知能（AI）関連企業の資金調達や巨額投資を巡る懸念がやや後退し、ハイテク株には買い戻しが入ったものの、米長期金利の上昇が株価の重しとなった。東京市場では米ハイテク株高の影響が限定的となり、ソフトバンクGなどAI関連株の一角を中心に売りが優勢となっている。前場の日経平均は一時1000円超下落したが、その後は先物への買い戻しなどを支えに下げ渋った。一方、韓国株式市場の下落や中東情勢の緊迫化を背景とした原油高への警戒感もあり、積極的な買いは限定的となっている。来週から本格化する国内主要企業の決算発表を見極めたいとの姿勢も上値を抑える要因となっている。
