10月27日の日経平均は前営業日比606.15円高の49905.80円と大幅続伸でスタート。24日の米国市場でダウ平均は472.51ドル高の47207.12ドル、ナスダックは263.07ポイント高の23204.87で取引を終了。消費者物価指数（CPI）が予想を下回ったため連邦準備制度理事会（FRB）の利下げ期待に寄り付き後、上昇。10月連邦公開市場委員会（FOMC）での利下げを確信した買いが終日続いた。終盤にかけ、上げ幅を拡大し、相場は過去最高値を更新し終了。シカゴ日経225先物清算値は大阪比225円高の49545円。本日の日経平均は買いが先行。米株高の流れに加え、高市首相とトランプ米大統領による首脳会談に先んじて行われた、両氏による短時間の電話協議も先行き期待に繋がると捉えられており、日経平均は寄り付き後も上げ幅を広げ、50000円の大台にのせている。
